Adelaide: India were 45 for one in their second innings at the close of play on the fourth day of the fourth and final test against Australia at Adelaide Oval on Sunday.
India led Australia by eight runs with nine second innings wickets in hand at the close of play.
The tourists reached stumps on 45 for one with Virender Sehwag on 31 and Rahul Dravid 11 after they trailled Australia by 37 on the first innings.
Australia were bowled out for 563 after tea following centuries by Ricky Ponting (140), Michael Clarke (118) and Matthew Hayden (103).
