India beat Australia by 172 runs on the final day of the fourth and final test on Monday to win the Gavasker Border series 2-0.

Nagpur: India beat Australia by 172 runs on the final day of the fourth and final test on Monday to win the Gavasker Border series 2-0.

Australia's series defeat was their first since the 2005 Ashes tour of England.
