Hussain steers Honda to victory
Arif Hussain hit a century to guide Honda Trading Enterprises to a 190-run victory over Baker Huges in the AJ Invitation tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, at Al Dhaid Cricket Village.

Sharjah: Arif Hussain hit a century to guide Honda Trading Enterprises to a 190-run victory over Baker Huges in the AJ Invitation tournament, organised by the Sharjah Cricket Council, at Al Dhaid Cricket Village.
Arif stroked 160 while Aftab chipped in with 64 as Honda Trading Enterprises, batting first, piled up a mammoth 310 for two.
Baker Huges, in reply, were restricted to 120 for eight.
The match between Channel Media and Lanka Colts turned out to be a nail-biting thriller with the former winning by just one run.
Channel Media, batting first, did well to post 229 for six with Sohail Rukhsar and Mohammad Imran contributing 75 runs each.
The Lanka Lions, in reply, staged a determined fight-back, but lost by a whisker. Omer Azeez (87 not out) and Marlon Fernando (50) did the bulk of the scoring.
In another match, Solanki rode on a fine batting show by Sadat (103 not out) and Mukhtar (81 not out) to beat Zahira Colombo (Digicom) by 33 runs.
Shijna Cup
The Shijna Cricket Cup organised by the Seven Seas Sports Club will be held at the Seven Seas Cricket Ground.
In the first match on November 14 at 7.45am, the Seven Seas will meet What's On and at 1.15pm the Yogi Group will meet the Al Jabeen Cricket Club. The event is being held under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council.
