Hussain stars in Bin Jamal victory

Nazar Hussain of Bin Jamal Cars extended his superb form to the second week in the Abu Dhabi Duty Free Division Two Cricket tournament being organised by the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council.

Abu Dhabi: Nazar Hussain of Bin Jamal Cars extended his superb form to the second week in the Abu Dhabi Duty Free Division Two Cricket tournament being organised by the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council.

The former Thrifty Cars batsman, who scored an unbeaten century in Bin Jamal's win last week was again in red hot form as he slammed 94 in his team's 15-run win over Aldar.

Hussain slammed five sixes and five fours in his innings of 94 which helped Bin Jamal reach 163 for 7.

In reply, skipper Sajjad Ahmad picked up three wickets as Aldar were bowled out for 148.

Mohammad Aleem and Mohammad Raza chipped in with two wickets each.

Kashif Butt and Imran Khan also shared the weekend's honours to help Atlas Telecom post a convincing 146-run victory over Khyber, according to an ADCC press release. Kashif stroked the only century from the ten games and Imran took five for 25 from his quota of five overs to restrict Khyber to 139 for nine in reply to Atlas Telecom's 285 for four in the allotted 25 overs.
