Abu Dhabi: Electro Cooling Centre and Seven Seas kept their hopes alive for a quarterfinal spot after victories over Gasco and Ace in the Abu Dhabi Cricket Council's fourth Ramadan Twenty20 tournament at the Shaikh Zayed stadium.

Electro completed their quota of games with three wins and a defeat to Arab Udupi, the favourites in group C. Seven Seas still have a match to play, which they must win to reach the knockout phase.

Jamshaid Butt hit 52 not out and Shafqat Ali took three for 26 as Electro beat Gasco by seven wickets. Gasco posted 151 for eight and Electro knocked off the winning runs with 2.5 overs to spare.

Mohammad Asif and Javed Butt shared a century stand to set the platform in Seven Seas' win over Ace, who could muster only 114 for nine. Butt hit 10 fours and a six in a top score of 57 off 37 deliveries.

Arab Udupi take on Gasco in tonight's opening match at 8pm and Nissan Al Masaood face Fortune Group at 11pm.
