Dubai: Javed Butt of Seven Seas produced a devastating 5-wicket spell, conceding just five runs, to guide Seven Seas to a 10-wicket win over Zain Cricket Club in the Texas Best Cricket tournament.
Al Dhaid, ECMIT, Globelink and AMD won their quarterfinal matches and moved into the semifinals of the Taher Spices Cup.
In the Klear Twenty-20 inter-school tournament, being held at Al Ain Sportplex, Rest School defeated Cambridge School by 183 runs.
Former Pakistan Test star Mushtaq Mohammad inaugurated the tournament.
