Baji takes seven wickets to lead Gasco to win

Dubai: Saleem Baji took seven wickets and Wasim Rashid hit a century as Gasco beat City Graphic by 74 runs in the weekend's Salama Insurance division two cricket tournament.

Gasco posted 261 for five in their 25 overs and dismissed their opponents for 187 after Baji's spell of seven for 41 from 4.5 overs.

Javed Khan took five for 15 to send Bin Jamal Cars to two defeats on the same day.

They were beaten by Gamco and again by Rocks, who bowled them out for 75 after posting 203 for nine.

Tariq Javed stroked the second century of the weekend to steer Abu Dhabi Gentlemen to a facile 117-run win over Eastern Travels.

Tariq's knock contained 11 sixes and seven fours.

Etihad Airways bt Al Shawid by 156 runs. Etihad 269 for 5 in 25 overs (Azam Qazi 62, Mohammad Omar 50). Al Shawid 113 all out in 20 overs (Ahmad Nawaz 40, H.S.Mani 3-4).

Emirates Haks bt United by 8 wickets. United 92 all out in 21 overs. Emirates Hawks 93 for 2 in 12.4 overs.

Nissan Al Masaood bt Esnaad by 10 wickets. Esnaad 102 all out in 23 overs (Raziq Khan 3-1). Nissan Al Masaood 103 for no loss in 10 overs (Zaheer Baig 52 not out).

UAE Exchange Centre bt Bin Ham by 10 wickets. Bin Ham 102 all out in 24 overs. UAE Exchange Centre 107 for no loss in 7 overs (Indika Sampath 50 not out, Sandeep Shetty 52 not out).
