Under-20 basketball team head for Tunisia to train
The UAE under-20 basketball team have left for a three-week training camp in Tunisia ahead of an Arab tournament.
Dubai: The UAE under-20 basketball team have left for a three-week training camp in Tunisia ahead of an Arab tournament.
The Arab Youth Under-20 Basketball Championships will be held in Fes, Morocco, from July 26 to August 4.
The team have had training sessions at the Al Shaab club under team coach Miladen Ostojic.
Salim Al Muttawa, the UAE basketball association board member and financial manager, heads the delegation to Tunisia and Morocco along with manager Rashid Abdullah in addition to the technical staff and players, who are:
Qais Omar, Saud Yousuf, Salah Khalifa, Omar Khalid Faqas, Mohammad Al Shaiba, Abdullah Tawfiq, Khalifa Khalil, Rashid Salim, Abdul Rahman Mohammad, Omar Osman, Mohammad Hashil, Jasim Khamis, Mohammad Abdullattif, Mana Saeed and Abdullah Messari.
