NIMS Sharjah bounce into semis with convincing victory

St Mary's to meet Delhi Private School as NIMS face IHS Dubai

Sharjah : Hosts NIMS Sharjah ‘A' team defeated NIMS Sharjah ‘Yellows' 82-33 in their pool match and entered into the semifinals of the NIMS Sharjah Inter School Basketball Tournament.

Abdullah Al Maqsood top scored for NIMS with 38 points. Jubin Sam top scored for NIMS ‘Yellows' with 10 points.

Indian High School Dubai overcame the tough challenge of Our Own High School, Al Warqa by beating them 66 against 44 points.

At half time Indian High led 25 against 11 points. Sidarth 24 points and Terry Michael 23 points were the top scorers for the Indian High School team. Kevin scored 11 points and Rameez scored 10 points for Our Own.

St Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai also reached the semifinals by beating Our Own English High School, Sharjah 61-24. Austin Paul excelled with 27 points for St Mary's and Victor netted 10 points.

St Mary's will meet Delhi Private School Sharjah in the first semi finals while NIMS Sharjah will play the second semifinals against Indian High School, Dubai.

St. Mary's Catholic High School, Dubai: 61 (Austin Paul 27, Lawrence Justin 8, Victor E.J. 10, Efrem 4, Karel 4, Nicholas 2, Bosco 2, Jonathan 4) beat Our Own English High School, Sharjah: 24 ( Govind Madhusudhanan 10, Harsh Mahesh 2, Abhishek 2, Navaneeth 2, huzaifa 4)

Indian High School, Dubai: 66 ( Siddarth 24, Terry Michael 23, Jason 12, Mitesh 3, Josh 2, Sagar 2) beat Our Own High School, Al Warqa: 45 (Kevin 15, Rameez 10, Farzeen 5, Tarun 5, Prakhar 4, George 2, Juda 2, Cherian 2, Greveen 2)
