Both Model School and Emirates National School played well. At the end of the third quarter, Model School were leading 20-19.
Naseem Hussain scored 10 points in the last quarter for Abu Dhabi Model School to steer his team to the semifinals with a convincing margin of 11 points (34-23).
In the other quarterfinal match, Dubai Modern High School, who were trailing by 2 points in the first quarter, went on to win by a margin of 29 points. Munif and Karan were the chief architects of Modern High's victory.
Our Own, Warqa, beat Millennium, Dubai, 25-11, while DPS, Sharjah, beat the ENS 'B' team 25-5 to also reach the semifinals.
