Dubai: Sharjah's board of directors, chaired by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Abdullah Al Thani, have decided to hold the senior football team's training camp in Switzerland from August 5 to 27 under new coach Yousuf Al Zuwawi.
The board also decided to hold training camps for the club's youth teams in Hungary from July 30 to August 14.
The soccer reserve team along with the youth teams in basketball and handball will hold their training camps in Egypt's Alexandria.
The board assigned posts as follows: Ali Omran Taryam deputy chairman, Mohammad Rashid Bayat financial manager, Khalid Al Midfa head of information and public relations committee, Abdullah Al Echla senior team manager, Abdullah Ebrahim reserve team manager, Eisa Meer manager youth and soccer school, Badr Al Nouman manager of individual events, Abdul Rahman Bin Taleea head of marketing and investment committee, Saleh Ashour and Abdulattif Al Fardan members.
The board appointed Ebrahim Al Nimr club executive manager and Abdul Rahim Jani professionalism manager.
Shaikh Ahmad Al Thani, the board chairman. will head the club's football committee along with Abdullah Al Echla, Eisa Meer, Abdullah Ebrahim, Khalid Al Midfa and Abdul Rahim Jani.
Meanwhile, the senior football team begin pre-season training today at the club's stadium under their Tunisian coach and will hold daily sessions until they leave for the Switzerland next month.
