Filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya, who has worked with Salman Khan in most of his films, doesn’t like the superstar’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss.

“I don’t like Bigg Boss. I don’t watch that (Weekend Ka Vaar episode where Salman Khan comes),” Barjatya said in an interview here.

“Actually, I don’t watch much television. I do see bit of the new shows. I like shows like Shakti, Shanti,” he said.

Barjatya was speaking at the launch of his new TV show Ek Shringaar. Swabhimaan.

Ek Shringaar. Swabhimaan highlights it’s lead character Sharda’s (Prachee Shah Pandya) determination to not only provide the best education for her daughters, but also finding a suitable match for them in a family that will allow her daughters’ careers to flourish.

“I have a niece who is working with a top multinational company and is drawing a very good salary, she goes abroad three to four times a year on a holiday with her family. The family was looking for a boy but the condition was that she has to quit her job,” the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo director said.

Ek Shringaar. Swabhimaan, produced by Rajshri Productions, will go on air from December 19 on Colors channel.
