Marriage has not impacted Vidya Balan’s choice of roles because the actress has found a solid support system in her husband Siddharth Roy Kapur.

There were rumours that Balan and Roy Kapur, who is managing director of The Walt Disney Company India, were having trouble in their marriage, but the Parineeti actress seems keen to quell speculations by showering praise on her spouse.

“Siddarth is very supportive because he knows my work and he doesn’t interfere in my work. The best thing about him is that he has accepted me the way I am and it’s a big thing,” said Balan.

Her next film is director Samar Shaikh’s Bobby Jasoos, which is co-produced by actress Dia Mirza and her beau Sahil Sangha.

Balan finds Mirza “a great producer” and said: “Dia has put in her own money in the film and every producer should learn this from her.”

“I had great fun shooting for this film, which is not just a detective film, but also the journey of a girl from a small town who dreams to do something different. The film is about how she lives life on her own terms and conditions,” she added.

Bobby Jasoos is slated for a July 4 release.
