Mexico City: Iftar meals have been served to Muslims in Mexico as part of the Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation Iftar programme inside the UAE and abroad.

The iftar was supervised by Saeed Rashid Al Zuabi, UAE ambassador in Mexico, and Mohammad Naseeb Suhail Al Dahiri, Third Secretary in the UAE embassy there.

Ahmad Shabib Al Dahiri, director deneral of the Foundation, said that according to the directives of Shaikh Nahyan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, and Shaikh Omar Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, 60,000 iftar meals are to be distributed inside the country and abroad as well as thousands of other Ramadan meals in 50 countries around the world.
