Shaikh Mohammad launches H1N1 vaccination campaign

- Shaikh Mohmmad gets vaccinated as part of UAE's H1N1 campaign on Saturday in the presence of Dr. Hanif Hassan, UAE health Minister, and other officials.
Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, launched a nationwide H1N1 vaccination campaign.
Shaikh Mohammad was the first one to receive the H1N1 vaccine. He stressed that the UAE gives a top priority to the issue of human health as one of the most important pillars of the comprehensive development strategy in the country.
"The H1N1 vaccine campaign comes in line with the directions of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who issued instructions to provide all requirements and needs to prevent the outbreak of swine flu in the country," Shaikh Mohammad said.
He later listened to a detailed presentation on the national plan to combat H1N1.
Dr. Hanif Hassan, Minister of Health, and other senior officials were present.
