Ajman: His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, on Thursday inaugurated a Martyrs’ Memorial at the Flag Square in Ajman.
The move aims to immortalise the memory of Emirati martyrs who made heroic sacrifices defending their country and maintaining its security and stability.
The UAE martyrs have set great examples of faithfulness and loyalty for their wise leadership and the people of the UAE, Shaikh Humaid said.
He added that the construction of the memorial is a source of pride for all Emiratis and comes in recognition of the deeds made by the UAE heroes who spared nothing for the sake of maintaining the peace and stability of their own country.
Lauding the sacrifices made by UAE heroes for liberty and peace, Shaikh Humaid said the Commemoration Day will be a prominent day to remember UAE martyrs who fought for their country’s dignity and pride
