Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, has issued a resolution forming the Board of Directors of Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation.
Hussain Ahmad Dhaen Al Qemzi has been appointed chairman of the Board of Directors based on Resolution No 43 of 2014. The board, which will sit for three years, is composed of Obaid Salem Obaid Al Shamsi, Abdul Rahman Hareb Rashid Al Hareb, Obaid Mousa Hareb Bin Hareb, Shehab Mohammad Abdul Khaleq Gargash, Marwan Iqbal Abdeen and Amnah Khalfan Saleh Al Qallaf.
Their positions in the board may be renewed for another term. If the validity of the board members expires and the board is not re-formed or new members are appointed, the board member may carry out their duties and obligations until further notice.
This resolution is valid from the date of issuance and to be published in the Official Gazette.
Shaikh Hamdan also issued Resolution No 44 of 2014, effectively forming the Board of Directors of the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children to be presided over by Dr Abdullah Ebrahim Khayat and Major General Obaid Muhair Bin Surour as Vice-President.
Members of the Board are Khalifa Rashid Bin Deemas, Abdullah Mohammad Bin Sougat, Abdul Moneim Salem Bin Suwaidan, Dr Asma Abdullah Al Ghurair, Dr Suad Mohammad Abdullah Al Marzouqi and Afra Rashid Al Basti.
The resolution stated that if the validity of the said board members expires and the board is not re-formed or new members are appointed, the board member may carry out their duties and obligations until further notice. This resolution is valid from September 28 and to be published in the Official Gazette.
