Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, has issued a legislation s on the organisation structure for government entities in Dubai.

The legislation includes Resolution No 38 of 2014 on the methodology and procedures for approving the organisation structures in Dubai Government. Article 1 of the resolution partially amends Executive Council Decree No 19 of 2012 and states that the Secretariat-General of the Executive Council may formulate a team to study the proposed organisation structure presided over by a representative from the Secretariat-General with members from the Department of Finance, the Secretariat-General of the Supreme Legislation Committee and Dubai Government Human Resources Department, in addition to an employee from the Secretariat-General as a coordinator, according to the Government of Dubai Media Office.

Pursuant to Article 1 of the resolution, members of the team are nominated by their managers and the Secretariat-General issues a decree defining the regulations and procedures governing the team’s work.

Shaikh Hamdan also issued Resolution No 39 of 2014 approving the organisation structure of RTA’s subsidiaries. Article 2 of the resolution authorises the Roads and Transport Authority’s Chairman of the Board and CEO to issue the required regulations needed to implement this resolution.

Shaikh Hamdan also issued Resolution No 40 of 2014 establishing a smart financial services department in Dubai’s Department of Finance and the Director-General of the Department of Finance may issue the required regulations needed to commence the new department and its subsidiaries.

Resolution No 41 of 2014 approved the new organisation structure of the Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Government and authorised its Executive President to issue the required regulations.

Shaikh Hamdan additionally issued Resolution No 42 of 2014. The resolution approves the organisation structure of the Imam Malik College for Islamic Sharia and Law.

All resolutions are active from the date of issuance and will be published in the Official Gazette.
