Occupied Jerusalem: An Israeli soldier has been formally indicted by a military court for spying for Hezbollah.
Sergeant Louai Balut, an Israeli-Arab military tracker, is accused of passing information on troop deployments along the Lebanese border to Hezbollah guerrillas.
Balut has denied the charges.
Israel fought a month-long war with Hezbollah in 2006. A UN peacekeeping force has been deployed in southern Lebanon, but tensions remain high.
