Dakar: After attending the opening session of the Organisation of Islamic Conference in Dakar, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and his accompanying delegation left Dakar.
Shaikh Mohammad was seen off at the airport by Karim Wade, Advisor to the Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade,
and a number of Senegalese Ministers and senior officials.
Dr Hadef Jua'an Al Daheri, Minister of Justice, took over the chairmanship of the UAE delegation from Shaikh Mohammad, upon his departure.
Earlier and in the presence of Shaikh Mohammad and the accompanying
delegation, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia, officially inaugurated the 11th summit of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) yesterday.
Delegation
The delegation accompanying Shaikh Mohammad included Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Al Daheri, and other senior officials.
