Radio 2 | Presenters
Fadi
Music has always been in my everyday surroundings day and night.
Who: Fadi , Presenter
What: Afternoons with Fadi
When: Weekdays, (1pm - 4 pm)
As a baby, Fadi’s mom played music to lull him to dreamland, so a career in music was a natural progression. He gained experience spinning vinyls in his teens and eventually went on air in 1992 on Capital Radio in Abu Dhabi. The station eventually transformed into Radio 1 and Radio 2 and Fadi moved from one to the other and found his home on Radio 2 with his favourite tunes. “There’s a lot more to just playing music on air every day…you’ve got to love it and you’ve got to be ready for the huge responsibility of being in every car, every home, gym and supermarket in the country. Knock on wood, I’m still OK and still playing the hits that listeners love to listen to” says Fadi.
