Accalia Hipwood comes to us by way of the Cayman Islands where she hosted her own shows and co-hosted the breakfast show on Grand Caymans Z99. The Londoner's fast–talking, wise–cracking style quickly endeared her to her Z99's listeners, winning an online vote as favourite on–air personality. A trained actress, Accalia, has worked in a number of radio stations in her native London - both local and national BBC including Radio's 1 to 5, and Chrysalis’s Heart and LBC. For the presenter, the legacy of a childhood spent traversing the globe (her father Julian Hipwood is international polo player and former England Polo Captain) is the wanderlust, which led her to the Caribbean and eventually onward to settling in the UAE.
