Sarah Jane’s story:
Known as SJ on air, this 27 year old Virgo was born and raised in Zimbabwe before setting off to explore the world!

After training as an actress at ArtsEd drama school in London, she went back to Africa to direct and produce female empowerment workshops - the well known ‘Vagina Monologues’ which plays throughout Southern Africa and various festivals.
Extending her talent to Dubai, SJ was one of the first people to travel up the Burj Khalifa before it was finished in her capacity as a producer! She got to travel all the way up to the 138th floor to film the Discovery Channel episode ‘Really Big Things’.
In September 2009, the south called out to her again, so she spent 6 months DRIVING all the way from Dubai to Cape Town down the east coast of Africa, filming a TV series called ‘Arabia to Africa’ which she presented and produced. She documented her exploits for Gulf News as she went! Check out her website www.arabiatoafrica.com for all the videos, stories and pics!
She then got involved in the UAE film industry and became an assistant producer for ‘The Kingdom’ starring Jamie Foxx in Abu Dhabi! She’s been riding the UAE’s airwaves since 2008 and is part of Radio 1’s Breakfast Show since May 2010.
And remember, if you take SJ out to lunch, she prefers sushi, then Italian, then Thai…in that order…but not all at once!
