Sheena's story:
Canadian born Sheena Kay started her radio career behind the scenes in marketing but it soon became apparent that her star quality and infectious laugh should be shared with the rest of the UAE. Within months, her passion for music, radio and people was noticed and she was asked to try her hand at presenting. With a background in singing, Sheena is a natural behind the mic.
She was the opening act for Juno award-winning Canadian Hip Hop group Ghetto Concept and her vocals are featured on DIVO’s debut album; Lil’ J’s song This is Life, as well as the French hip hop release Notre Leitmotiv. Sheena’s own song ‘I’ll Be Here’ even held the number one position on mp3.com’s top ten independent music downloads for six weeks in a row.

What does music mean to you?
Music is a beautiful form of expression – it goes beyond borders, and touches the hearts of people at any age, of any background, - no matter what they’re going through. Somehow, music always understands.
Do you have any hidden talents?
I survive four hours a day in the studio with one of the most annoying people in the world and still stay somewhat sane (joke)… and I somehow manage to burn the popcorn EVERY time I put it in the microwave…
If you had to choose a movie title for your life story, what would it be?
"Confessions of a Chocoholic."
If you could have any super-power, what would it be?
Teleportation – imagine! I could go anywhere at any time! Travelling is one of my passions and I want to explore as many places as possible…I could even get away from Danny when he irritates me, go halfway across the world and be back in time for our next link… hmmm…
What do you think is the greatest invention in your lifetime and why?
The BLACKBERRY! I’m addicted and BlackBerry Messenger is the best way for me to keep in touch with people all over the world!
