Abu Dhabi: The final night of Beats on the Beach brought together an international mix of top artists as thousands dance their way into the 2009 Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix race day.
Hamaki and The Wailers, along with local acoustic trio Dahab and popular DJ Charl Chaka, provided even more flair to Abu Dhabi’s Formula 1 celebrations as the city continued to party its way into the showpiece sporting event which has the eyes of the world watching.
The Wailers sang some of their classics including ‘Get Up, Stand Up’ and ‘I Shot the Sheriff’ while Hamaki brought the crowd to its knees after jumping off stage and posing for photographers while singing his favourite tracks to adoring fans.
Presented by Flash Entertainment, the Abu Dhabi events company, Beats on the Beach has been a phenomenal success, bringing tens of thousands to the Abu Dhabi Corniche to watch some of the world’s leading artists and performers for free over five nights.
