Actor Ashish Vidyarthi had a close call on the set of his film Bollywood Diary when he nearly drowned in a river before being rescued by a policeman.
The incident occurred when the 52-year-old actor was doing a scene in river Shivnath when the current swept him away.
Constable Vikash Singh, who was at the location, jumped into the river and pulled Vidyarthi out.
Actor Manoj Bajpai tweeted about the incident, saying, “My friend Ashish Vidyarthi got saved from drowning in a river by a policeman. Salute to the policeman. Ashish is trying to come to terms with [the incident].”
