Ras Al Khaimah: Police here are seeking residents’ help to locate an eight-year-old Pakistani girl who went missing from her home in Ras Al Khaimah on Sunday.

Her legal guardian and foster father has filed a missing-person report with Ras Al Khaimah police station and police have posted her photograph on their social media accounts.

Anyone with information on the girl can call the police on 050-7669229.

The police said they have no fresh information about the investigation into the whereabouts of Khadija Bilal Mohammad Bilal.

In an interview with Gulf News in Ras Al Khaimah, relatives and her foster parents are expressing grave concern for her safety.

She was last seen on Sunday at around 11am at her foster parents’ house in Al Al Ma’amurah area.

“Her family and relatives are growing increasingly concerned by the day for her safety and well-being,” Mohammad Esmat Allah Bilal, the foster father of the missing girl, told Gulf News on Wednesday.

Bilal said he adopted Khadija six months ago and her real parents live in Pakistan.

“I finished all official papers in Pakistan and in UAE and put the girl under my name and issued an Emirates ID for her,” he said. “Khadijia heard that her real father in Pakistan was sick and she showed her wish to return to Pakistan. She said that she wanted to return to Pakistan to her real parents. She wants to live in Pakistan,” he said.

Khadijia left home with her passport in addition to Dh400, he said. “I am really worried about her safety … I have not slept for three days.”

He has two children of his own Haniyah, 6, and Mohammad, 3.

The incident was discovered when Haniyah returned home from school on Sunday, he said.

“She did not find Khadijia at home,” he said.

The foster mother has a beauty salon in Al Jolan and the foster father works in the auto industry and they stay at home with their children alternatively when not working.
