Sharjah: Police on Sunday were investigating two separate incidents of suspected suicides in Sharjah.
Officers have not ruled out foul play in the unrelated deaths on Saturday and Thursday.
But the police said in both the instances, the bodies of the men were found hanging.
On Saturday, Sharjah Police found a 44-year-old Lebanese man, later identified as H.I., who reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope in his apartment in Al Ghowair area of Sharjah.
The body was moved to Al Kuwaiti Hospital in Sharjah and then transferred to the forensic laboratory.
In the second incident reported on Thursday, a 24-year-old Indian man was found hanging in his apartment in Muwaileh area.
The police said the man apparently committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope from the ceiling of his apartment.
The incident was reported to the police operation room at around 1pm.
The body was moved to hospital, then to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
