The Blue Mosque: Gulf News reader Aldrin Francisco took this picture of the Blue Mosque when he went on vacation to Turkey. He said: “I visited Blue Mosque on the first day of my holiday. The weather in turkey was amazing and the sky was a rich blue. I wanted to capture the Blue Mosque against the clear blue sky, which is why I clicked the photo from a low angle. It was the time when the sun was going down and the lights were coming up. I managed to capture the beautiful lights of the crisp Blue Mosque standing tall under the beautiful sky. If anyone visits Turkey, I suggest they must visit the beautiful mosque with a camera. People might not be good photographers but the mosque is very beautiful and it will give them their best pictures.”
