Fans ecstatic after UAE's historic feat

Emiratis , Arabs and other expatriates had joint celebrations after the tourists rallied to beat much-fancied Uzbekistan 3-2 in the Asian qualifiers.
Fans watched the much-anticipated UAE-Uzbekistan match at their workplaces, cafes, restaurants, social clubs and homes. Football fans celebrated the UAE’s maiden qualification for the Olympic Games in great spirits. The historic inclusion after a tightly-fought match had fans on tenterhooks. Football fever is expected to grip the UAE until the young sporting icons step foot in London.
