Worshipers throng mosques all over the UAE for Friday prayer
Muslims all over the UAE gathered in mosques on the first Ramadan Friday. The sermons delivered by Islamic clerics talked about social solidarity, helping others for the love of Allah. The sermons also highlighted zakat, or the giving of alms, which is the third of the five pillars of Islam. High solidarity and spiritual feelings filled the air as people prayed together, asking Allah to grant them mercy and forgivingness on this holy month
