Taiwan celebrates Chinese National Day
Celebrations for the 101st Chinese National Day, also known as Double 10 day, are under way in Taiwan's capital Taipei. The day celebrates the uprising of 1911 that established the Republic of China. Taiwan served as the seat of the Chinese government when it was expelled from the mainland in 1949.
