Spanish town celebrates first carnival of the year
Silio, a town in northern Spain celebrates La Vijanera, an ancient festival dating back to the pre-Roman era. People dress up as Los Zarramacos, or warriors of good, to ward off evil spirits from the town, and expel the old year to make way for the new one.
