Saturday snapshots: Taking Ramadan sun in their stride
The month of fasting coincides with the hottest time of the year making things hard for those working outdoors. Chief photographer Abdul Rahman and photographers Ahmed Ramzan, Megan Hirons Mahon and Karen Dias travelled around the city and captured scenes of construction workers labouring prior to their mandatory noon breaks and parking attendants delivering tickets in the heat. From office-goers, car cleaners and mechanics to gardeners and delivery men, everyone went about their tasks without complaining about the sweltering conditions.
