Saturday Snapshots: Having fun in the Sun
As some tourists start heading for Dubai, residents start to go elsewhere to escape from the scorching summer sun. For those of us who have to stay back, there are options to beat the heat as the temperature starts to climb steadily, from drinking chilled fruit drinks or cooling off with ice lolly to staying indoors, especially during daytime. While many people avoid venturing out in the open when the sun is up, some residents prefer to cool off by taking a dip in the warm waters of the Arabian Gulf. However, during these lazy, hazy, humid days there are some useful do’s and don’ts for example, don’t stay out in the sun for too long, don’t drink anything that’s very cold, especially if you are hot and sweaty, and carry a hat when you’re out. Pankaj Sharma, Senior Photographer, went out and about to capture these images of people, trying to chill out.
