Pet stories with happy endings
A welcome bark at your front door. A lazy purr around your ankles. If you have a pet, you probably count it as a member of the family - permanent, loving and someone you call your own. But not every animal is lucky enough to find a home. Some have been violently abused, others abandoned when they grew older, and still others have been on the brink of death from malnutrition and neglect. But they all have one thing in common - the hope of a happy ending. Gulf News features rescued animals who lived to see the silver lining, and got readers to share their stories of pain, survival and 'happily ever after'.
