China marks traditional Lantern Festival
China celebrate the traditional Lantern Festival as the cities becoming a sea of lanterns and fireworks. The festival which dates back more than 2000 years to the Han Dynasty, formally marks the end of celebrations for the Chinese Lunar New Year period, 15 days after it began.
