A new campaign to find seven natural wonders of the world has been launched. Check out some of the entries from the Middle East hoping to be named.

  • A new campaign to find seven natural wonders of the world has been launched, with 261 nominees from 222 countries across the globe competing to be recognised. The UAE's Liwa Oasis and Empty Quarter - which also borders Oman, Saudi Arabia and Yemen - is one of the competitors in the Landscapes and Ice Formation category.
