  • Largely regarded as one of the best footballers in the world, Brazilian superstar Pele, born Edison Arantes do Nascimento, stops to read Gulf News in Dubai in March 1982, on one of several visits he has made to the UAE through the years. Since his retirement from football in 1977, the 68-year-old has been an ambassador for football and has also starred in various films and television series.
