To kick off, or should that be tee off, our list of famous female golfers, we have the legendary Annika Sorenstam, one of the most successful golfers of all time. Before retiring at the end of the golfing season in 2008, Sorenstam won an incredible 90 international tournaments as a professional, more than any other female golfer in history. As well as amassing a fortune of over $22 million (Dh80,765,000), the Swede also made history in 2003 at the Bank of America Colonial tournament, by becoming the first woman to play in a men's PGA Tour event since 1945.
