Exercise caution and celebrate

The celebrations over the coming days are a time to be spent with family and friends. But over-exuberant celebrations and recklessness during these happy times, often lead to tragic accidents as people pour onto the roads and come together in public places. So at all times safety first should be the motto of families and friends.

Drivers must be careful and responsible on the roads. Those who are heading for the mountains and beaches must make sure they are well-equipped and take all necessary precautions and children, the elderly and others with special needs must be carefully watched. And, those who gather in public places or go into the wilderness must respect nature and the right of others to enjoy its beauty by not littering.

During these current celebrations let us keep each other safe from careless and reckless behaviour so that next year there will only be happy memories.
