Apply for Emirates ID before it’s too late
Despite extension of deadlines, there are those who have failed to comply with rules
There are a number of measures that have been introduced by the authorities concerned to make transactions easy. The introduction of the Emirates ID card is one of them. It has been introduced for the purpose of facilitating dealings in a simple and smooth manner. The new single identity card would eventually be the sole official document required by residents. Therein lies the importance of the card, and all UAE residents need to apply for this document on time.
The authorities have recently finalised deadlines by which all residents should have processed their papers. This deadline has been changed on numerous occasions so as to assist residents who were late in applying or had faced obstacles at any time during the process. Yet, regardless of the extension of the deadline a number of times, there are still some residents who have failed to comply with the rules. This will undoubtedly cause serious problems as many important transactions cannot be carried out without this particular ID card.
It is therefore necessary for all those who have not been part of the process thus far to take advantage of what time is left before the final deadline. Such an opportunity would probably no longer be available in the future.
