A life but not as nature intended

Confining wild animals to residential apartments is totally alien treatment.

The story we published yesterday of some lion cubs and a cheetah being kept in a one-room flat will have shocked many people.

Not everyone, though, for some people see no harm in confining species of a lower order (than humankind) to such conditions.

There can surely be no enjoyment in seeing animals being treated in such a way, or depriving them of their right to a fulfilling life.

Filing teeth down and de-clawing animals affect their health and well-being. Anyone who condones such acts cannot truly be said to be an animal lover.
