One killed, one injured in US mall shooting
Police are searching for a gunman responsible for a shooting at a Seattle area mall has left one person dead and another one injured, according to media reports and a representative for Harborview Medical Centre.
Tukwila, Washington: Police are searching for a gunman responsible for a shooting at a Seattle area mall has left one person dead and another one injured, according to media reports and a representative for Harborview Medical Centre.
A State Patrol sergeant at the scene said one victim underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation after being hit.
Witnesses said at least three shots were heard near the food court in the Southcentre Mall in Tukwila on Saturday.
The mall was evacuated as officers investigated and tried to determine whether a shooter was at large.
According to media reports, police have conducted a store-by-store search for the gunman, believed to be still in the mall.
