Washington: Republican front-runner John McCain is trying to gain his party's presidential nomination by convincing conservatives he is one of them, with no intent to harm the support from his propelling moderate voters of his candidacy.
The Arizona Senators, who enjoyed Super Tuesday victory, has said that his key focus is energising s the Republican base, but without the capability to pacify all of his critics accurately.
"I think my record indicates that I'm a solid conservative," McCain said, and also noted among a few in his party “we've got disagreements on specific issues from time to time''
