United States Senator Edward Kennedy will undergo brain surgery on Monday, he said in a statement.
Washington: United States Senator Edward Kennedy will undergo brain surgery on Monday, he said in a statement.
The senator, who was diagnosed with brain cancer last month, will have the operation at Duke University Medical Centre in Durham, North Carolina, he said.
Following the “targeted surgery'', he will undergo chemotherapy and radiation and will be hospitalised at Duke for approximately a week.
