Schools, hospitals and government offices are also said to have received the potentially fatal produce over the past two years. But no action will be taken against the companies that traded under the McLaren Foods banner because they have gone into administration.
The BBC investigation reveals suspect meat was sent to the London Oratory School where the Blairs sent their children, Westminster School, and the Treasury when Gordon Brown was in charge. Claridges said they recently returned a batch of 250 sirloin steaks from McLarens because they had turned green.
