Two of David Beckham’s staff members have been arrested over allegedly stealing memorabilia belonging to the soccer star, media reports said on Tuesday.
London: Two of David Beckham's staff members have been arrested over allegedly stealing memorabilia belonging to the soccer star, media reports said on Tuesday.
Personal possessions of the Los Angeles Galaxy player and his wife, former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham were taken from his home in Sawbridgeworth, about 50 km northeast of London.
The reports said the items, which were then put up for sale on eBay, include football boots, sportswear and designer clothes.
A 56-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man from Essex were arrested on suspicion of theft, police officers confirmed.
The two are due to return to a police station on November 22.
