World's smallest to meet tallest in Italy
Guinness record pair to meet in April
Manila: Southern Philippine-based Junrey Balawing, 49 centimetres tall and dubbed by the Guinness World Records as the world's tiniest man will visit Italy to meet with Turkey's Sultan Kosen, who, at 2.22 metres tall, is the world's tallest man, a TV report said.
Balawing, 18, and Kosen, 29, will be photographed together, Mayor Nilo Sy of Sindandangan, Balawing's hometown, told ABS CBN.
Balawing, his father and mother were invited to go to Italy in April for a two-week visit, said Sy, adding it will be the first trip of the Balwing family outside of the Philippines.
"We were very happy when we learned about the trip to Italy," Balawing's mother Conception said in the same TV interview.
"We really like to go there," said Balwing's father Reynaldo.
