Mindanao Autonomous region goes to polls
Some 1.7 million voters are expected to troop to the polling precincts in the southern Philippines on Monday as the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) holds its election.
Manila: Some 1.7 million voters are expected to troop to the polling precincts in the southern Philippines on Monday as the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) holds its election.
Registered voters from the six provinces under the ARMM will cast their votes in 1,903 polling centres in the region to elect their regional governor, vice governor and members of legislative district assembly.

The polls will be held in the provinces of Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, Sharif Kabunsuan, Lanao del Sur and Maguindanao.
